Scope of work:
The Project Manager will support the delivery of Integrity’s project portfolio across Integrity’s five services and three delivery geographies: Africa, Asia and MENA. The Project Manager will particularly focus on design and delivering a portfolio of evaluations, with a strong emphasis on qualitative methods and project and client management. In addition, the Project Manager may be required to support business and proposal development, and deliver on Services’ strategy, approaches and methodologies.
Terms of Reference:
A. Project Management and Delivery (80%)
- Design and delivery of a portfolio of evaluations working across multiple countries and thematics.
- As Project Manager, being accountable for budget, deliverables, risk and project closedown.
- Working with field programmes in MENA, Africa and Asia provide technical advisory support to delivery of evaluations.
- Provide technical inputs, in a short-term technical assistance role, including quality assurance of project team deliverables.
- Working with the Corporate and Operations teams, provide leadership on project implementation processes including financial management, client communication, time and resource management.
B. Business and Proposal Development (10%)
- Working with the Business Development team lead on teaming and consultant identification for evaluations.
- Work to support our field programmes in MENA, Africa and Asia by assisting in the development and maintenance of team management, communications management and contributing to key business development dialogues and client management dialogues.
- Explore upcoming opportunities not yet tendered through effective prepositioning with potential primes and other relationships.
C. Thought leadership and thematic development (10%)
- Understand, monitor and disseminate new agendas and trends within the field with a particular focus on contribution analysis, third-party monitoring, conflict sensitive indicator development, quantitative monitoring, impact assessments and RCTs.
- Enhance Integrity’s approaches and methodologies in relation to DME, with a view to promote innovative practices and position the organisation as practice/thought leader.
- Develop and keep up to date thematic and technical brochures that demonstrate Integrity’s capacity and expertise in a concise and easily digestible format that can be shared internally and externally.
Education and Experience:
The candidate will have:
- Master’s degree in a relevant subject such as economics, political science, international relations, sociology, social anthropology, international development or related subject
- 5+ years of experience of evaluations and multi-stakeholder management, preferably for DFID and/or Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) funded projects.
- Theory-based evaluation experience.
Preferable:
- Experience of working with the FCO and/or DFID
- Experience of working in Middle Income Countries
- Economic growth/development thematic experience
