The incumbent, under the direct supervision of Ms. Mmantsetsa Marope, Director of the IBE-UNESCO, will carry out the following tasks and provide support for and assistance with:
• Researching on the various impacts of ICTs in education (e.g. the effective use of learning technologies in education and teachers’ professional development ; the role of ICTs in terms of universal sustainable, effective, quality and lifelong learning opportunities)
• Designing and developing digital learning contents related to the IBE-UNESCO’s programmatic areas
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
• Currently enrolled in a MA degree (or already completed), in education with a specialisation in ICTs in Education
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Outstanding writing and analytical skills
• Outstanding research skills
• Experience in designing and developing digital learning contents
• Creative open-minded team player with strong initiative and willingness to learn
• Strong interest in ICTs in education and in the work of the IBE-UNESCO
• Good mastery of Microsoft Office programme (Word, Excel, Power Point, Prezi, Outlook)
• Good grasp of Google education applications
• Experience in working effectively in a highly challenging work environment under time constraints
• Experience in working effectively in a multicultural working environment
LANGUAGES
• Native English speaker and a good working knowledge of French

Please note that this internship is unpaid. The intern is responsible for all expenses related to the internship, including lodging, meals and transportation to and from Geneva. The intern must be self-insured through a medical provider.
