Lebanon: Business Officer, Marketing and Communications

Scope of work:

Integrity is hiring a Business Officer to support its Marketing and Communications function. The role will sit within the Business Directorate and will be an opportunity for a proactive and creative individual to drive the marketing of the Integrity brand and support our internal and external messaging. The Business Officer will be responsible for supporting the production of marketing materials, news items, company track records and proposals to clients as well as organising key company events and brown bags.

The Business Officer will also support across the Directorate in Consultant Management and Business Development.

Terms of reference:

A.Marketing & Communications (M&C) (50%)

  • Support on production of corporate marketing materials;
  • Support production of key BD messaging on the Integrity website, in marketing materials and in proposals;
  • Compile and update relevant track records for use in Business Development and project-related marketing materials;
  • Management and production of corporate news items and blog entries for the Integrity website;
  • Manage Integrity’s social media channels;
  • Maintenance of external and internal events calendar;
  • Organisation of company events and brown bags;
  • Provide copy-editing as and when required.

B. Consultant Management (30%)

  • Support with proposal teaming: identification, negotiation with and recruitment of suitable candidates for consultant roles on proposals. In time lead on proposal teaming strategy for specific proposals;
  • Register new consultants onto the bench, undertake data cleaning;
  • Attend and record meetings with consultants, proposal development meetings; Coordinate communication with consultants on the bench;
  • Others - Generate data analytics as required; take part in organisational mapping of key consultants/relationships.

C. Business Development (20%)

  • Search for, identifying and communicating pipeline of opportunities company-wide in weekly roundup;
  • Support on pre-positioning activity, including recording pre-positioning updates and market analyses; keep relevant internal trackers and databases up to date;
  • Research opportunities and briefing team as required.

Education and experience:

  • Minimum - Academic or professional experience in Business and Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline;
  • Demonstrable knowledge of MS Word (advanced), MS Powerpoint, MS Excel;
  • Preference for candidates with prior experience in use of database software, particularly Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software;
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Indesign and/or Photoshop desirable.

  • An interest in international development, international relations, political science, anthropology or a related field is useful but not necessary.

Languages:
