We are looking for an enthusiastic communicator, with good all-round website and data management skills and social media savvy, who is interested in international development and foreign affairs. The role will be best suited to a graduate or equivalent looking for their first or second role within the international development sector.
Project Background and Scope of Work
The UK Prosperity Fund (PF) is a £1.2 billion facility that aims to promote economic growth and reduce poverty in developing countries.
The four-year Evaluation & Learning (E&L) contract supporting the Fund is delivered by a consortium of three companies – WYG, Integrity and LTS – and managed by the Joint Funds Unit (JFU), based in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO).
Learning is a core part of the E&L service and activities are focused on encouraging and driving organisational learning within and across the Prosperity Fund’s stakeholders. One of the important ways we help encourage learning is via our bespoke PF-members-only digital learning platform and website PFLearning.
This new Digital Project Officer position in our Learning, Knowledge & Communications workgroup will work with PFLearning managers to help support face-to-face and online events delivered through the platform, as well as helping to manage our globally-based digital community of UK Government staff from FCO, DfID and a range of other government departments.
