Scope of Work
The Corporate Consultant will be part of the Directorate Services. The Corporate Consultant will focus on project delivery, budget management, project development and client management in Pakistan. The Corporate Consultant will be located in Islamabad and report to Integrity’s Design, Monitoring and Evaluation Manager in London.
Terms of Reference
A. Project management and delivery (70% LoE)
The Corporate Consultant will support, manage and deliver key projects and outputs across Integrity’s Pakistan portfolio. Key project management responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide technical leadership on mixed-methods research projects, including technical inputs into delivery and the quality assurance of deliverables.
- Provide project management including financial and budget management, forecasts and budget planning information, data management, client communications and coordination of delivery efforts.
- Team recruitment and management - Manage core consultant relationships; Identify new consultants with the appropriate technical, management and thematic skills to deliver Integrity’s growing portfolio of work; Grow and nurture the service-line specific bench of consultants ahead of upcoming opportunities.
B. Project development and client management (30% LoE)
The Corporate Consultant is expected to support project development and business development in Pakistan and the region, and drive and grow Integrity’s client base through existing relationships. He/she will:
- Draft technical and commercial proposals of varying sizes within the service line, and assist in the development of other services line’s proposals on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate with primes and partners on relevant frameworks, including FCAS and GEFA, to formulate technical and commercial approaches to tenders and preposition for key business opportunities released through the pipelines.
- Provide technical assistance and inputs on research, monitoring and evaluation methodologies for technical proposals.
- Explore upcoming opportunities not yet tendered through effective prepositioning with potential primes and other relationships.
Experience:
- At least seven years of professional experience in the design and management of research and evaluation studies;
- At least three years of experience in project management, including financial and budget management;
- Experience of both qualitative and quantitative data collection, including household surveys;
- Experience of developing statistically representative sampling strategies;
- Experience of producing and quality assuring in-house and external reports;
- Experience of working with key donors including DFID and FCO;
- Thematic experience of justice and security programming is desirable;
- Experience of working in Pakistan desirable;
- Experience of working in fragile and conflict affected states essential; and,
- Experience of managing and mentoring national research teams.
Languages:
- Written and oral fluency in English is essential
- Written and oral knowledge of Urdu is desirable
