Integrity Global is seeking a Program Assistant for an anticipated USAID-funded Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Activity in Jordan. The Jordan MEL Activity will strengthen MEL capacity within USAID Jordan, partners, and local firms, and support the M&E agenda of USAID Jordan by providing guidance, planning, technical assistance, and strategic communications for all new and existing programs as well as conducting sectoral and geographic evaluations to inform USAID Jordan programming. This is anticipated to be a five-year activity.
The Program Assistant will support the Jordan MEL Activity’s efforts in training and capacity building by providing logistical support to the Training and Capacity Building Manager. The Program Assistant will also be responsible for supporting information management through the maintenance and population of Knowledge Management Portal.
This is a full-time position contingent upon donor award. Only applications from national candidates will be accepted.
Terms of Reference
A. Logistics
- Support the organization and planning of capacity building workshops and trainings, with special regards to scheduling and attendance
- Ensure proper administration of logistical aspects related to capacity development activities
- Preparing pre-and post-training tools to measure outcomes and contributions to impact of trainings
- Contribute to the development of annual work plans, performance monitoring systems and tools, and writing of program reports
B. Information Management
- Provide regular reports on progress made, main challenges/constraints faced and recommended corrective actions
- Promote accelerated, active learning and knowledge sharing within the organization via the creation of knowledge content on training and capacity building through interviews, focus group discussions and lessons learnt workshops
Your experience and qualifications
Qualifications:
You are a professional with the following qualifications:
- A university degree, or relevant professional work experience, in international relations, business administration or other relevant field
- At least one year of experience delivering high-quality logistical and administrative support for training activities, including coordination, logistics, scheduling, reporting, budgeting, etc.
- Superb organization and time management skills
- High attention to detail
- Flexibility and ability to work effectively with various personalities and cultures.
- Ability to work effectively within team and under pressure.
- Actively works towards continuing personal learning and development.
- A team player, who consistently approaches work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude
- Should be skilled in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Prior experience working with USAID or other donor-funded programs preferred;
Languages:
Written and oral fluency in English (required); and Arabic (required)
